eRAM Principal Investigator Authorization Request Form

The University of Michigan uses a web-based system called eResearch Animal Management (eRAM) for managing the submission, review, and approval of all applications/protocols involving the use of vertebrate animals. New Principal Investigators (PIs) can request eRAM access by completing the eRAM Principal Investigator Authorization Request FormRequests are sent directly to the Animal Care & Use Office and are typically processed within two to three business days. 

Please note that additional staff can only be added to eRAM protocols by the PI.
